1st June 2013.     Based in Albania but international in its reach thanks to the Hotbird satellite, the A1Report television channel is available on analogue and DVB-T, as well as via a web-streaming service.
Technical director Olger Teneqexhi outlines the purpose of the channel: "We are operational 24/7 with news and information in a continuous cycle. Politics, events and economic news are central, while we dedicate a very important moment to sports at the end of every newscast. We run a team of eight reporting troupes with different cameras in full HD, some from Panasonic, and some can be remotely controlled."

Italian state broadcaster RAI and RCS Sport recently signed an agreement granting rights of deployment, transmission and utilization of cycling races on television by RCS Sport.
Matteo pastore, Head of Media Rights and Relations RCS Sport - La Gazzetta dello Sport says: "This is a historic turning point in defining the role of RAI as Host Broadcaster, head of the television signal, produced with HD standards, overseen by an international direction and declined on two different models of production.

Two OB-vans by RAI are closely engaged near the world most important bicycle race arrivals, "Giro d'Italia". One takes care of the production process for RAI Sport and one for the production of the international feed seen in 173 world nations! In fact, as per the 4 year agreement between rights owner RCS Sport and Italian national state broadcaster RAI, two different feeds are created and diffused, one international and one for the "in house" owner, RAI, for the home territory, with proper personalization.
