2025 marks for Small Pixels a year of both geographical expansion and innovation.
“Our efforts focus on consolidating the proximity market, expanding within Italy, and reaching further across Europe. Simultaneously, we are forming partnerships with companies that have an international distribution network, enabling us to establish a presence in new territories,” explains Fabio Clabot, CEO of Small Pixels.
“Among these territories, South Korea stands out as a promising market. We aim to leverage connections with leading broadcasters and fast channels in the region. Additionally, we are exploring further growth in South America, while planning to appoint new representatives for the U.S. market, Greece, Romania, Spain, and Portugal.”
“Two highly promising regions for Small Pixels in 2025 are Latin America and the United States. We are working toward establishing a direct presence in these areas due to their significant market potential. For instance, in the U.S., we are finalising an agreement with a globally renowned brand in high-end audio/video technology, which will integrate our solutions into its products.”
Small Pixels Solutions
Small Pixels’ AI-driven solutions, based on pre-trained neural networks, enhance video quality significantly while reducing the bandwidth required for transmission and delivery. This makes the Florence-based company attractive not only in its traditional media and entertainment markets but also in adjacent sectors.
The flexibility of Small Pixels’ solutions opens doors to other applications such as video conferencing, aerospace imaging, defence, and drone footage processing.
Product Developments
“In terms of products,” continues Clabot, “we are constantly improving visual performance and optimising the pre-trained neural networks that underpin our solutions. In the near future, we will launch new products capable of operating with even fewer hardware resources than today.”
“These solutions will be fully operational and even more efficient, not only with current GPUs but also with neural processing units (NPUs), ARM-based technology—renowned for its versatility and energy efficiency—and other highly specialised technologies designed for specific purposes.
Our developments aim to provide clients with a broader range of technologies to choose from, ensuring seamless integration of Small Pixels’ solutions into existing infrastructures with fewer barriers or limitations.”
“These advancements represent a significant challenge but are crucial for entering a broader universe of video applications, which has shown great interest in Small Pixels,” notes Clabot.
“In addition to product improvements,” he adds, “we are initiating the certification process for several cloud marketplaces, starting with AWS. This will greatly enhance the scalability of our offerings, making them accessible to a wider market.”
Team Expansion
Alongside commercial expansion, Small Pixels plans a substantial enlargement of its operations team this year. This initiative aims to strengthen internal efficiency and significantly enhance post-sales customer support.
A larger, more structured team will enable faster and more precise responses to user needs, ensuring personalised and timely assistance. Investing in human resources is a strategic move to ensure the company’s growth aligns with high service quality standards, reinforcing customer trust and satisfaction.
