The new CMN-41L multiformat on-screen monitor
An updated version of the CMN-41 Compact Monitor Series - this new product allows the testing of signal integrity across all DTV broadcast signal formats up to 3 Gb/s. The CMN-41L is ideal for monitoring remote or unattended locations as it can be controlled through a web page or an optional remote control panel. Available in SD, HD/SD and 3 Gb/s/HD/SD version, the CMN-41L can be upgraded via a simple software update.
The new VMM-4SNY integrated T&M module for Sony® LCD monitors
The first integrated, professional test and measurement device for Sony® LCD monitors, the VMM-4SNY is designed to provide a cost-effective alternative to test equipment housed in separate rackmount units. The new module fits into several Sony monitors: LMD-2450W, LMD-2050W, LMD-4250W, LMD-2451W, BVM-L170, PVM-L2300 and BVM-L230. A brand new concept in monitoring for video and audio sources. the module comes standard with two HD-SDI/SD-SDI input connections with embedded audio support and an AES input connection. 3 Gb/s-SDI capability is available as an option.
The new SD-STAR™ handheld SD-SDI & analogue composite generator and monitor
A handheld, battery-powered, personal monitor and test generator for SD-SDI and analog composite video signals, SD-STAR is part of the award-winning Videotek® STAR handheld test instruments family. It is ideal for monitoring field-productions camera setups and equipment installations and can be used for troubleshooting signal-path issues related to analogue and SD digital formats. The new unit offers a wide range of functions, such as a video test signal generator, colour monitor, waveform monitor, vectorscope, oscilloscope and audio analyser/monitor. The SD-STAR includes two video inputs — one for monitoring composite analogue NTSC and PAL video signals and one for monitoring SD-SDI signals formatted in SMPTE 259M-C with embedded audio.
The new Multi-Source Analyser (MSA) Series for compressed audio and video streams
Harris collaborated with MiraVid, a global provider of MPEG technologies and tools, to introduce a new line of multi-source analyzers for compressed audio and video streams. Ideal for complex, multichannel environments, the new (MSA) Series combines confidence monitoring with full testing for compressed video conformance, audio level, data services and ETR-290 on any terrestrial broadcast, cable headend, satellite or telco network. With two base platforms available (MSA-100 and MSA-300), customers can select the I/O configuration, channel capacity and system redundancy that meet their specific needs. Both solutions are offered in space-efficient 1RU packages.
