The sports offer is definitely huge, with several HD channels (Sky Sport 1HD, 2HD, 3HD, Sport24, Sport Extra HD, Super Calcio HD) and is considered an “endless season” capable of exploiting all newest and exciting technologies as per production and transmission.

Besides, opening and closing ceremonies and other events were also broadcast in Stereoscopic 3D for a total of 265 hours, 140 live, along the 16 days.
On Facebook social network over 530 thousand fans published comments on the broadcasts, while over 500 thousand Twitterers did the same commenting the XXX Olympic games.
Starting from august the main course is obviously football, and National Serie A, with main matches at least one per weekend and over 900 live broadcast hours among matches, in deep analysis and other programs like “Diretta gol” (6 in 7 days).
