About Sports Video Group (SVG) Advancing the Creation, Production and Distribution of Sports Content.
The Sports Video Group was formed in 2006 to support the professional community that relies on video, audio, and broadband technologies to produce and distribute sports content. Leagues, owners, teams, players, broadcasters, webcasters, and consumer technology providers have joined the SVG to learn from each other, turn vision into reality, implement new innovations, while sharing experiences that will lead to advancements in the sports production/distribution process and the overall consumer sports experience.

Flight case units, FC1-2-3-4 by Italian “The Alliance” were born for mobile production in television coverage. In the latest few months they have been revised and completed updated to face new adventures in television production, especially in sports based programs -as the Universiadi in Kazakistan- but certainly not only that.

Adolfo Guzzetti from Video AG Cassano (mid way from Milan and Varese production and post company) tells us: "Just think that we are capable of reading a papyrus of 4 thousand years ago and instead we risk not being able to read ever more the information contained on magnetic tapes of thirty or forty years ago. From its headquarters in Milan, via Colico 21, the Mediapason Group which, among other channels, handles Antenna 3, Telelombardia, Top 24 Calcio, Milanow, Top Taste, Top Tech, Top Musica, has created an interesting television production model which gave birth to a full tv channel, Top calcio 24.

The regional tv channel Telelombardia -today operating in the northern region of Lombardy with 65 high-frequency plants - has in its schedule a transmission that resists since the 80s.
It is "Qui Studio a Voi Stadio" [that is the typical sentence the announcer says when interfacing with a live link from a soccer stadium] which has suffered over the years some very obvious changes. Born, as the name indicates, with strong links and live conductors physically placed in the major football stadiums, implied a massive use of technologies, radio links, cameras, microphones and technicians, journalists, cameramen, assistants, etc.
